Yoshimine-dera, Kyoto

The Yoshimine-dera temple lies in the hills of the Southwestern district of Kyoto. Not only does this temple look great in the autumn leaves, it's also fun to walk around, with lots of different buildings and paths to explore.

A bus service runs between the temple and the Hankyu Higashimuko train station once an hour. I arrived on the first bus of the day which arrived at the temple at about 9.30am, in order to catch the morning sunlight.
